GLLA-MI was the Michigan feeder contest for the Great Lakes Leather Alliance. GLLA itself was a regional leather title weekend held from 2000 to 2018 that drew contestants from eight Midwest states; its last regional event took place September 6–9, 2018, in Indianapolis. When the alliance dissolved, the Michigan feeder ended too, and Michigan Leather Pride took over its role in 2019. The exact start and end years of the Michigan contest are not confirmed.
