The Ford-Wyoming Drive-In opened on Ford Road in Dearborn on May 19, 1950, with a single colossal late-Art Deco screen for about 750 cars. Wayne Amusements bought it in 1981, and by the early 1990s it had grown to nine screens, making it the largest drive-in in the United States by parking capacity, with room for more than 3,000 cars. Screens 6 through 9 were later closed and demolished, leaving five. It's one of the few drive-ins in the country that stays open year-round: weekends only in winter, with car heaters, and the sound comes through your car's FM radio.

It's $29.75 per vehicle with two or more people, $15 if you're solo, and oversize vehicles pay a $12 fee. From spring to late fall it's open seven days a week, Friday to Sunday 6:30 p.m. to 2 a.m. and Monday to Thursday 7 p.m. to midnight; weekend-only winter hours start October 2, 2026. Find it on Ford Road in east Dearborn, right at the Detroit city line.
