01 / The story of this place

Make time for these

Ed and Jim Terebus have worked in the haunt business since 1981 and opened Erebus in 2000. From August 2005 to September 2009 it held the Guinness World Record for the world's longest walk-through haunted attraction. The route winds through four floors for just over half a mile, and the average group takes 35 to 45 minutes. You go through in groups of six and may get split up for a short stretch. Things here will grab you, fall on you and shut you in a room. It's been featured on the Travel Channel and Discovery Channel.
