Emagine Canton is a 19-screen first-run multiplex on Ford Road in Canton Township, run by Michigan-owned Emagine Entertainment. It opened on October 1, 2004 as the chain's second theatre in the Detroit area, designed by Studio Three Design. Over the years it added a large-format screen, reserved luxury seating and a bar. Today it has Emagine's EMX and Super EMX premium large-format screens with Dolby Atmos, cuddle chairs and sensory-friendly screenings. Emagine founder Paul Glantz got his start in 1997 with a one-screen cinema in Clarkston.

The box office opens 30 minutes before the first show and stays open 15 minutes after the last. After 6 p.m., anyone under 17 needs a parent or guardian 21 or older, and kids 6 and under can't see R-rated films at any time. Reserve seats on the Emagine website or call (734) 787-3002.
