Make time for these
The library is run by the City of Eastpointe and overseen by the city's Library Commission. Eastpointe was East Detroit until 1992, and the library links to the digitized archive of the old hometown paper, the East Detroit Herald, hosted by Central Michigan University. The Library Commission and the Friends of the Library both meet in its community room. Your card gets you discounts at area attractions, and Beanstack hosts the library's reading and activity challenges.
- Notary service by appointment, $5, cash only
- Print from your phone through the reference desk
- Faxing at 50 cents a page, at least 30 minutes before closing
