01 / The story of this place

Make time for these

Finished in fall 2011, it was the first new athletic building on WSU's athletic campus in more than fifty years. It covers 35,000 square feet under a ceiling that tops out at 35 feet. Inside are four tennis courts, a 60-yard sprint track and the tennis and baseball locker rooms. It was named for Doris J. and Donald L. Duchene, Sr. in August 2018, and the four courts were resurfaced for the 2023 spring season.
