Make time for these
Dessert Oasis started in 2009 as a family business in Rochester built around desserts and live music, and coffee soon took over: today every bean is roasted at the company's own HQ. The Detroit café has anchored the Capitol Park Historic District since 2015. Expect espresso drinks like cortados and lattes, batch brew, rotating single-origin pour-overs and tea lattes, plus pastries baked in house, from croissants and muffins to the signature cheesecakes. Mondays bring an open mic from 7 to 9 PM.
