Common Pub is a neighborhood pub and restaurant on Wayne State University's campus that has become one of Midtown's main queer-friendly hangouts, though it is not an exclusively LGBTQ+ bar. During the RuPaul's Drag Race season, it hosts Friday watch parties with local queens performing live lip-syncs. It also stages periodic drag brunches, including a Pride edition in June 2026, and the Parasol pool parties on summer weekends. A patio and a private community room round out the space.
