Opened in 2000, Comerica Park is home to the Tigers and a central part of downtown’s sports district. Sculptures and team-history displays extend the experience beyond the field. The open-air setting brings Detroit’s buildings into the view. A game offers a taste of American baseball culture, so allow time to look around after the gates open rather than arriving at the first pitch.
