Club Plantation was Walter Norwood's Black-owned nightclub in the basement of the Norwood Hotel at 550 East Adams at St. Antoine. During the Depression years of the 1930s it was one of the Paradise Valley “black and tan” clubs where Black artists played for mixed audiences, alongside the 606 Horseshoe Lounge and Club 666. In 1943 Norwood was one of three businessmen who bought the hotel that became the Gotham Hotel; the club's opening and closing years are not known.
