Clio Cast & Crew grew out of a 1977 community-education theatre workshop: as the Clio Players it staged its first show, The Wind in the Willows, in January 1978 at Clio High School's Donald Woolson Auditorium. In 1979 it became The Cast And Crew of Clio. After 25 years at the high school, the group bought its own building, Theatre 57 on West Vienna Road, in 2003. The 2026-27 season opens with The Hunchback of Notre Dame (September 25-October 4, 2026) and includes the local favorite Michigan Chillers, the musical (April 9-18, 2027).
