Cinetopia is an annual independent film festival founded by the Michigan Theater Foundation, now Marquee Arts. It takes place in downtown Ann Arbor at the Michigan Theater and the State Theatre. Expect independent features, visiting filmmakers with Q&As, workshops, mixers and a Michigan-made Shorts Showcase. The 2026 edition has already happened, and 2027 passes are listed as coming soon.
