Make time for these
Cinema Carousel began in 1971 as the Auto Cine 1 & 2, built next to the Auto Theatre Drive-In on Grand Haven Road. Screens were added over the years until it reached 16, and a full-size working carousel gave the complex its name. Every auditorium got stadium seating in 1999 and digital projection in 2007, and the building spread onto the former drive-in site, whose marquee it still uses. Celebration Cinema runs it today, with reserved recliners and bistro service.
