Make time for these
Center Stage Jackson formed in September 2000 by merging two older groups. One, the Clark Lake summer company, began in 1954 as the Pleasant View Players at the Pleasant View Hotel pavilion and moved to Jackson College's Potter Center in 1979; the other, the Jackson Civic Theater, was started by the city recreation department in the early 1960s. Its first production as CSJ was Art, and today it stages plays, musicals, an annual cabaret, staged readings and youth theatre in the Potter Center's Baughman Theater. The Wizard of Oz opens the fall 2026 season on October 2, 2026.
