Grand Rapids-based Loeks Theatres launched the Celebration Cinema brand with this house. Its first seven screens opened on August 29, 1997, the other seven on October 3, 1997. According to the company, stadium-tiered seating was added mid-construction, making it the first stadium-seat cinema east of the Mississippi. Today you get recliners, reserved seats, D-Box motion seats, RealD 3D and Dolby sound. There's a full bar, and food comes right to your seat.
