Bread Basket Deli has been family run since 1968, built around one obsession: fresh-cut corned beef stacked higher than you expect. The beef comes in daily and is cooked on site all day, and the Reuben is a point of pride. There are four delis, and this one sits on East Jefferson between downtown and Belle Isle; the others are in Livonia, Lincoln Park and Redford. Eat in, order ahead for pickup or get it delivered.
