Blue Water Ally Center opened in June 2023 as a small LGBTQ+ community center on Military Street in downtown Port Huron, in a renovated former ice-cream parlor. Its launch was supported by the Community Foundation of St. Clair County, which on June 30, 2025 gifted the Atrium Building at 1519 Military Street to Blue Water Allies as its permanent home. It has hosted events such as a drag homecoming gala, and its website lists 2026 events including Blue Water Pride on June 28.
