Berkley High School has served the suburban Detroit community of Berkley, in Oakland County, for decades as part of the Berkley School District. Actor Curtis Armstrong, who later became widely known for playing Booger in the Revenge of the Nerds film series and for roles in Moonlighting and American Dad!, graduated from Berkley in the early 1970s before pursuing acting in Detroit, then New York and Los Angeles. The school remains an active public high school today, continuing to serve students from Berkley and the surrounding area much as it did in Armstrong's time.
