An evening festival of Caribbean music, food and crafts with reggae headliners, held outdoors at The Base Bar & Grill in Springfield, just west of Battle Creek, since 2024.
01 / The story of this place
Make time for these
For its first eight years the festival took over Festival Market Square in downtown Battle Creek; since 2024 it has moved outdoors to The Base Bar & Grill in Springfield. Reggae bands headline: in 2025 Hurricane Reggae Band played with Roots Vibrations, King Mellowman and DJ/MC Assane Dia, and 2024 brought a Bob Marley tribute with former Wailers vocalist Lazo Johnfinn. Admission in 2025 was $7 in advance or $10 at the door, with VIP tables at $80–$125.
