What’s it like to stay here?
The Atheneum lives in the newest of the old D.M. Ferry seed company buildings, a 1920s concrete warehouse designed by George Mason that became a hotel in the early 1990s. Its structural columns still stand, now as decorative columns in the lobby and even inside some suites. All 173 suites have oversized marble bathrooms with deep soaking tubs or whirlpools. Downstairs there's The A Bar, with the Pegasus Taverna right next door and a 24-hour gym. It's a Preferred Hotels & Resorts member, so you earn I Prefer points.
