01 / The story of this place
Make time for these
Anthology got its start in 2012 inside the Ponyride incubator in Corktown, roasting and brewing there for almost seven years. In 2019 it moved into a 2,900-square-foot space on Division Street in Eastern Market, with tall brick walls, exposed beams and garage doors that open onto a patio. A 6-kilo Mill City roaster works in the back, and an 18-foot custom bar runs up front. It's owned by Detroit natives Josh and Annie Longsdorf and Hernan Juarez-Martinez.
