The building at 2932 Caniff St has hosted live music since 1981, long as Paycheck's Lounge and later as The Sanctuary's metal and punk home. New owners are relaunching it as a multi-genre room promising “raw underground vibes and an exquisite sound system.” So far the only confirmed date is a free drum & bass and dubstep grand opening on November 25, 2026 (21+); the regular lineup after that hasn't been announced.
