100 Proof is Detroit City Distillery's event space on Gratiot, set in the historic former Stroh's Ice Cream Factory. The distillery mixes the building's industrial bones with modern design and books it for dinners, corporate gatherings, pop-ups and whiskey experiences, including blending your own bourbon from the barrel. It also hosts public events like Detroit Lions watch parties, the Fleatroit market and hands-on workshops. The distillery itself was founded by eight childhood friends and makes small-batch whiskey, gin and vodka from nearby farm ingredients.
