The Detroit story
Lee was born in Mount Clemens and spent most of her childhood in Detroit, which she credits with shaping both her sense of humor and her interest in magic. She graduated from East Detroit High School, where she was active in theater, and briefly trained in dentistry before a high-school friend asked her to be the assistant in his magic act. She was mentored by the Detroit magician known as Scorpio and later by the illusionist Jonathan Pendragon, and developed stage shows that blend theater, song and sleight of hand. In 2010 she became a staff séance medium at Hollywood's Magic Castle, leading Houdini séances, the first woman magician to hold the job. As a voice actress she has worked on The Last of Us, BioShock Infinite, Grand Theft Auto V and God of War Ragnarök, and voiced Aunt May in Ultimate Spider-Man.
