The Detroit story
Larry Warbasse was born in Dearborn, in the heart of metro Detroit, and later graduated from the University of Michigan. He turned professional as a road cyclist and rode for the UCI WorldTeams BMC Racing and IAM Cycling before joining smaller outfits, including the current Tudor Pro Cycling Team. His best-known result is the 2017 United States National Road Race Championship. Warbasse now lives in Traverse City, in northern Michigan, but retains his Dearborn roots.
