An Evening with Allison Russell

Allison Russell is more than a performer—she’s a poet, songwriter, activist, and co-founder of several bands. Her latest album, The Returner, recorded in December at Henson Studios in Los Angeles, celebrates Black culture and love. At The Ark on October 13, she and her all-female band, the Rainbow Coalition, were joined by legendary guests like Wendy & Lisa, Brandi Carlile, Brandy Clark, and Hozier to deliver a powerful and soulful show. The evening offered a moving exploration of Black liberation through music and poetry.
