Lady Vonne

Lady Vonne's singing career began in Detroit nightclubs, where she displayed a star-like presence from an early age. In her youth, she sang in church choirs and played violin and clarinet in school. Her career flourished on hotel circuits with the Lorio Ross Agency, where she refined her craft. Primarily known for jazz, Lady Vonne also performs American standards, Broadway tunes, and R&B. On stage, she has portrayed Phyllis Hyman and co-starred in “When A Woman’s Fed Up.” She has opened for notable artists such as Phyllis Hyman, Joe Sample, and Chaka Khan and has performed at venues including Comerica Park, Detroit’s Music Hall, and the Montreux-Detroit Jazz Festival. Her timeless voice echoes the sounds of America’s jazz legends.
