Gene Dunlap concert

Gene Dunlap started drumming at four, learning from his father, and honed his craft at Detroit Mumford High School before playing in the Earl Klugh Trio and launching a solo career. He worked with many notable artists, released several albums, and reunited with Klugh for touring and recording. At his Dirty Dog Jazz Cafe show, he delivered a special mix of late-night groove, smooth R&B, and modern jazz, always keeping true to his artistic integrity. He played on Gretsch drums and Bosphorus cymbals during the gig.
