Erinn Alexis’ Huron Collective

Erinn Alexis’ Huron Collective is a jazz ensemble presenting original works inspired by the landscapes of Northern Michigan. Erinn Alexis, a Detroit-based saxophonist and composer with a degree in Jazz Performance from Wayne State University, integrates gospel and jazz traditions with a contemporary approach. The group features musicians Ingrid Racine on trumpet, Barry Chambliss II on piano/keyboards, Sam Copperman on bass, and Caleb Robinson on drums. Their music is regularly heard at venues such as the Blue LLama Jazz Club in Ann Arbor.
