Xavier Davis Quartet

Xavier Davis’ professional jazz piano career began in 1994 when he was discovered by vocalist Betty Carter. Since then, he has become one of the world's most accomplished jazz pianists, collaborating with numerous renowned artists and becoming a prominent figure in the jazz community. He is also an educator, currently serving as Associate Professor of Jazz Piano at Michigan State University and formerly teaching in the jazz department at the Juilliard School of Music.

His development was greatly influenced by mentors Carl Allen, James Williams, and Billy Hart. His extensive discography and musical achievements include performing on the Grammy-winning album with the Christian McBride Big Band. Davis is an esteemed composer, arranger, and producer, contributing to various projects including film and commercial music.

This event took place at the Blue LLama Jazz Club in Ann Arbor with live performances scheduled in two sets. Table reservations were recommended.
