Sean Dobbins Organ Trio ft. Tiffany Gridiron

The Sean Dobbins Organ Trio, featuring vocalist Tiffany Gridiron, presented their music at the Blue LLama Jazz Club in Ann Arbor. Sean Dobbins established himself early as a sought-after jazz sideman in the Detroit area, collaborating regularly with notable artists such as Louis Smith. Throughout his career, he earned prestigious honors including the Woody Herman Jazz Award for outstanding musicianship and the Louis Armstrong Scholarship.

Dobbins has toured, recorded, and performed with a wide array of jazz legends including Johnny Basset, Benny Golson, Dr. Lonnie Smith, and many others. His sound is characterized by a hard-driving, solid rhythm combined with a melodic sensibility influenced by artists like Art Blakey, Jeff Hamilton, and Elvin Jones.
