Aguankó Latin Jazz Concert at Blue LLama Jazz Club

Aguankó is a Latin jazz septet based near Detroit, led by percussionist and composer Alberto Nacif. The band's music draws heavily from Cuban jazz traditions, presenting original compositions that merge jazz with Son-Salsa rhythms. Nacif, originally from Oaxaca, Mexico, began playing percussion at a young age and studied under renowned Cuban masters. Aguankó has earned national and international recognition, performing alongside prominent jazz musicians and receiving multiple award nominations.
