Sean Dobbins All-Star Quintet

Sean Dobbins got his start young in the Detroit jazz scene, playing regularly with Blue Note artist Louis Smith. Throughout his career, he's earned accolades like the ‘Woody Herman Jazz Award’ and the Louis Armstrong Scholarship. He's shared the stage with legends including Johnny Basset, Benny Golson, Frank Morgan, and many others. Sean’s sound mixes solid, driving rhythms with a melodic touch influenced by greats like Art Blakey and Elvin Jones. At the Blue LLama Jazz Club, he performed alongside Vincent Chandler on trombone, Marcus Elliot on saxophones, Xavier Davis on piano, and Noah Jackson on bass.
