Michael Mayo is a Los Angeles-based singer, songwriter, and arranger recognized with the 2025 Downbeat Critics Award as a rising male vocalist. Growing up surrounded by music, with parents who worked with legends like Beyoncé and Earth, Wind & Fire, he developed a unique sound blending jazz, neo-soul, and R&B. Educated at the New England Conservatory and Thelonious Monk Institute, he has toured internationally and released acclaimed albums.
