Lady Vonne

From a young age, Lady Vonne showed star quality, singing in church choirs and playing violin and clarinet. Her career flourished while playing hotel gigs through the Lorio Ross Agency, where she refined her style. Known mainly for jazz, she’s also skilled in American standards, Broadway tunes, and R&B. She’s acted on stage as Phyllis Hyman and performed at some of Detroit’s top venues and festivals. Her timeless voice recalls the sounds of jazz legends. One night at Dirty Dog Jazz Cafe gave fans a taste of her enduring talent.
