Future Visions feat. Michael Zaporski

Michael Zaporski, known for being the pianist for the late Detroit saxophonist Sam Sanders, crafts music that mixes American jazz with West African rhythmic dialogue. He toured West Africa supported by the U.S. State Department and has performed with jazz greats like Jackie McLean and Pharoah Sanders. With his own ensemble FutureVisions, he's headlined jazz festivals and colleges and released critically acclaimed recordings. His show at the Dirty Dog Jazz Cafe brought this energetic fusion to life.
