Maurice MOBETTA Brown Concert

Maurice MOBETTA Brown’s trumpet and vocals navigate through contemporary jazz, blues-rock, and hip hop, creating a distinct sound that mixes be-bop with urban vibes. A national Miles Davis Trumpet Competition winner as a teen, he recorded his debut album "HIP TO BOP" in New Orleans before moving to New York and working with artists like Aretha Franklin and The Roots. He also won a Grammy as part of the Tedeschi-Trucks Band. The December 21 concert at Blue LLama Jazz Club in Ann Arbor featured two shows, with dinner & show and cover-only ticket options.
