Rachael Davis Concert

Rachael Davis combines folk, blues, country, and pop to create her distinctive sound she calls “Motown-Banjo.” Growing up surrounded by musicians, she joined her family band Lake Effect at eight and played extensively at folk festivals across Michigan and the U.S. Known for closing the Wheatland Music Festival’s Sunday gospel set with a stunning a cappella "Amazing Grace," Rachael now lives in Nashville with her husband, bassist Dominic John Davis. Together they perform as The Davis Duo and nurture a diverse musical community. She brought this rich musical heritage to the stage at The Ark in Ann Arbor during her November show.
