Dave Bennett at Dirty Dog Jazz Cafe

Dave Bennett plays jazz clarinet unlike most—mixing influences from swing legend Benny Goodman to rock and roll soul Roy Orbison. His shows often feature rockabilly hits while he accompanies himself on piano or electric guitar. A seasoned performer, he’s played Carnegie Hall with The New York Pops and many US and Canadian orchestras. In 2022, he and his band packed the Birdland Theater in New York City. This show at Dirty Dog Jazz Cafe was a unique treat for Grosse Pointe Farms music fans.
