Alvin Waddles

Alvin Waddles started piano lessons at age eight in Detroit and studied further at Interlochen Arts Academy and the University of Michigan's School of Music. Returning home, he immersed himself in Detroit’s diverse musical culture, which shaped his distinctive style. His two-and-a-half-hour set at Dirty Dog Jazz Cafe brought the city’s rich musical influences to listeners in Grosse Pointe Farms.
