Detroit Jazz Project Featuring Mark Hershberger

Mark Hershberger began studying jazz with greats such as Marcus Belgrave and Sam Sanders during his university years, playing in multiple groups across Ann Arbor and Detroit. Over his career, he performed at historic venues like Baker’s Keyboard Lounge and the Detroit International Jazz Festival. The Detroit Jazz Project brought modern jazz tunes to Dirty Dog Jazz Cafe, showcasing a depth of Detroit jazz tradition mixed with fresh sounds. The band featured Hershberger’s decades of experience and collaborations with notable artists, delivering a rich musical experience that highlighted the city's jazz scene.
