Michael Zaporski at Dirty Dog Jazz Cafe

Michael Zaporski creates music that blends American jazz traditions with West African rhythms. Having played with late Detroit saxophonist Sam Sanders and taught jazz in West Africa through the U.S. State Department, Zaporski brings a deep well of experience. He has performed alongside jazz greats like Jackie McLean and Art Blakey, and leads his own group, FutureVisions, which has appeared at jazz festivals and colleges. At Dirty Dog Jazz Cafe, he delivered original compositions filled with energy and African beats.
