Jesse Palter Live at Dirty Dog Jazz Cafe

Jesse Palter has been immersed in music since she was a child in Detroit. Singing publicly at five and picking up piano at six, she later studied jazz at the University of Michigan School of Music. She's won the Detroit Music Awards' Outstanding Jazz Vocalist three years in a row and has played iconic venues like NYC’s Blue Note and festivals like the Red Sea Jazz Festival. Her original songs have appeared on shows like The Real World and Keeping Up With The Kardashians. Her 2019 album “Paper Trail” received notable acclaim, and since the pandemic, she’s independently released soulful singles inspired by quarantine, including “Better Days” and “2020 Vision.” In 2022, she released “Nothing Standard,” a retrospective jazz album with over 3 million Spotify streams. On November 2, she performed at Grosse Pointe Farms’ Dirty Dog Jazz Cafe with Chris McCarthy on piano, Alex Tremblay on bass, and Josiah DeNooyer on drums, making for a memorable night.
