David Steele & ChromaSynthesis Concert

David Steele is a saxophonist, composer, arranger, mix and recording engineer from Detroit with nearly two decades of experience. His music incorporates the jazz tradition with a distinctive Detroit sound, performing internationally at prestigious venues. ChromaSynthesis, co-led by Steele and trumpeter Corey Watkins, is a jazz group inspired by diverse genres including hard bop, fusion, gospel, hip hop, rock, and R&B. The band features multiple saxophonists, a trumpet and flugelhorn player, pianist/keyboardist, bassist, drummer, and spoken word artist, creating a rich and varied musical experience. The concert is held at the well-known Cliff Bell’s in Detroit.
