Houston Patton Quartet and Session

Houston Patton is a rising saxophone star in Detroit’s jazz scene, having started young and trained under notable musicians. His style blends gospel, hard bop, and modern jazz. He released his debut album in 2024 with a group of young Detroit musicians called Quintessential. On June 10, 2026, at Cliff Bell’s, he gave a multi-set performance starting at 7:30 p.m., with doors opening for dinner at 5 p.m. A second show began at 9:30 p.m. Musicians attending with instruments were admitted free. The evening showcased Patton's original compositions and dynamic playing in an intimate venue.
