The Vincent Chandler Experience

Vincent Chandler is a multifaceted musician from Detroit known for his trombone playing, composing, and scat singing. He began his journey in local blues and salsa bands in high school and later collaborated with renowned jazz artists like Marcus Belgrave and James Carter. Holding degrees from the University of Michigan, he currently teaches jazz at Wayne State University and leads the DSO Civic Jazz Orchestra. His February 20 performance at Cliff Bell’s delivered a rich, authentic Detroit jazz experience.
