Allen Dennard

Allen Dennard has an impressive resume including three appearances as a sideman at the Detroit Jazz Festival alongside notable artists like Wendell Harrison and Ali Bey. In 2019, Detroit MetroTimes named him one of the ten artists to watch, attracting media attention from Detroit Public Television/PBS and Honeysuckle Magazine in New York. He has collaborated with Detroit Music Factory musicians and Blue Note’s David McMurray, and shared the stage with New York’s J.D Allen. He was part of the horn section for the MC5 reunion and recorded on an Alice Cooper album. Dennard leads three ensembles—the trio, quartet, and quintet—showcasing his range and leadership.
