Drey Skonie and The kLOUDs Band

Detroit’s own Drey Skonie and The kLOUDs Band, also known as “Skonie and The kLOUDs,” mix retro style with a modern edge in their ‘new, old school’ sound. In 2023, Drey Skonie won Artist of the Year at the Motown Museum’s Hitsville Next competition and also triumphed at Masterpiece Sound Studios’ Cover Song Contest with their take on Stevie Wonder’s classic “I Was Made To Love Her.” Their latest album, “Rolling Skone,” is available on major streaming platforms. The band performed at Cliff Bell’s with a blend of soul, funk, RnB, and techno, delivering two shows starting at 7:30 p.m. and 9:30 p.m. Tickets were $25.
