DeSean Jones

Detroit saxophonist De’Sean Jones, who’s been on the scene for over two decades, shared the stage at Cliff Bell’s after touring and recording with icons like Stevie Wonder and Faith Evans, as well as local legends including Marcus Belgrave and Mad Mike Banks from Underground Resistance. As a bandleader and producer, he blends progressive sounds rooted in black cultural history with music that pushes social awareness in authentic and emotionally powerful ways.
