Quick Trio

Jason Quick is a guitarist and composer who grew up in Livonia, Michigan, and studied jazz at Wayne State University before earning a master’s degree at Bowling Green State University. After five years away, he returned to Cliff Bell’s in Detroit with his Quick Trio. They played original compositions that are popular with the club's audience. Doors opened at 5 p.m. for those wanting dinner, with seating starting at 6 p.m., and the second show began seating at 9 p.m. It was a night full of inventive jazz and vibrant improvisation in Detroit.
